Child & Adolescent Therapy

Whether you are here for yourself or for a young person that you love, welcome. Counseling provides a safe place for all clients including children and teens. Therapy should be something that is supportive, helpful, and does not feel like a chore. It is my job to make therapy as engaging as possible using art and play therapy techniques. Art and play can show feelings and challenges that words cannot. By tapping into someone’s creativity we can highlight how to best support them. If art and play are not your cup of tea that is okay too.

What is most important to me is that a nurturing space is provided to help manage daily stress whether that be in school, at home, with friends or all of the above. Therapy is not a place to “fix” any part of someone as we are not broken, we are all works in progress.
